The Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE) volleyball overcame the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Hershey upgrades its record to 4-5 on the year. The Panthers travel to Amherst (Amherst, NE) to face the Broncos in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 9. The Broncos go into the outing with a record of 6-0. Amherst won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Ravenna (Ravenna, NE)

The Minutemen now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to North Bend Central for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 9. Lexington will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family (Humphrey, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 3-4.
