The Holtville Bulldogs volleyball team (Deatsville, AL), went down 3-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Marbury Bulldogs (Marbury, AL)

The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Tallassee (Tallassee, AL). The Tigers come into the 5A Area 7 challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Tallassee defeated Holtville (Deatsville, AL), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Billingsley Bears (Billingsley, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 11. Holtville will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Chilton County (Clanton, AL).
