The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Queensbury Spartans (Queensbury, NY) and the visiting Hudson Falls Tigers (Hudson Falls, NY), saw Queensbury's volleyball squad beat Hudson Falls by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Queensbury upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Spartans host Baldwinsville (Baldwinsville, NY) to play the Bees in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Bees go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Baldwinsville won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Fulton (Fulton, NY)
The Tigers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Broadalbin-Perth for a Section 2 Foothills bout on Tuesday, September 12. Hudson Falls will play a Patriots squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Amsterdam (Amsterdam, NY). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.
