The Independence Academy Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Knowledge Academies to 1 in the Lions league victory on Thursday.
The Lions now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harpeth for a non-league game on Monday, September 11. Independence Academy will meet a Indians team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Creek Wood (Charlotte, TN). The Indians record now stands at 14-6.

Match Summary
The first and second set were a rough run for the IA Lady Lions, however, once we started to get our serves in, we started to dominate. We had countless aces as a team, several strong serve streaks from incredible players and a strong mindset to not give up and pull out that win!
