In Thursday's non-league battle, the host LaMoure/Litchville-Marion Loboes volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Oakes Tornadoes.

The Loboes (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Park River/Fordville-Lankin (Park River, ND). The Aggies come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Park River/Fordville-Lankin lost by Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg (Mayville, ND), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Tornadoes clash with the South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs (Wishek, ND) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 9. Oakes will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier (Edgeley, ND).
