The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) and the host New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL), saw Loyola Academy's volleyball squad beat New Trier by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Loyola Academy upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Ramblers host St. Francis (Wheaton, IL) to play the Spartans in a Girls Catholic (GCAC) bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 7-3. St. Francis lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Castle (Newburgh, IN)

The Trevians now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Glenbrook North for a Central Suburban bout on Tuesday, September 12. New Trier will play a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 6-8.
