The Lumberton Panthers volleyball team (Lumberton, MS), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Salem Wildcats (Tylertown, MS)

The Wildcats (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against South Pike (Magnolia, MS). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, South Pike defeated Franklin County (Meadville, MS), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies (Brooklyn, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 11. Lumberton will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Aggies enter the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Columbia (Columbia, MS).
