The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Maranatha Baptist Crusaders (Watertown, WI) and the visiting Wisconsin School for the Deaf Firebirds (Delavan, WI), saw Maranatha Baptist's volleyball squad beat Wisconsin School for the Deaf by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Maranatha Baptist upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Westwood Baptist Academy (Poplar Bluff, MO) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, September 15. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-2.

The Firebirds now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Mountain Top Christian for a bout on Tuesday, September 12. Wisconsin School for the Deaf will play a squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Rock County Christian (Beloit, WI). The record now stands at 0-1.
