North Carolina High School Volleyball - Northern Guilford tips Northwest Guilford

September 7, 2023: Greensboro, NC 27455

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) and the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC), saw Northern Guilford's volleyball squad nip Northwest Guilford by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Northern Guilford upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Nighthawks travel to Page (Greensboro, NC) to play the Pirates in a Metro 4A bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Page lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

The Vikings now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Ragsdale for a Metro 4A bout on Tuesday, September 12. Northwest Guilford will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 6-3.
