The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the St. Maries Lumberjacks (St. Maries, ID) and the visiting Orofino Maniacs (Orofino, ID), saw St. Maries's volleyball squad beat Orofino by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, St. Maries upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Lumberjacks travel to Kellogg (Kellogg, ID) to confront the Wildcats in a 2A Central Idaho game on Tuesday, September 12. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 2-0. Kellogg won 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Clarkston (Clarkston, WA)

The Maniacs (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Priest River (Priest River, ID). The Spartans enter the 2A Central Idaho game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Priest River gained a win over Newport (Newport, WA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
