The Tylertown Chiefs topped the host Perry Central Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Chiefs now have a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Patrick for a Class 3 Region 8 test on Tuesday, September 12. Tylertown will confront a Fighting Irish team coming off a 3-0 league win over West Marion (Foxworth, MS). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 13-2.

The Bulldogs (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Columbia (Columbia, MS). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Columbia was knocked off by Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS), 3-0, in a league test.
