The St. John-Vianney Lancers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Red Bank Regional Bucs to 0 in the Lancers league victory on Thursday.

The Lancers now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Raritan for a Shore B - North game on Monday, September 11. St. John-Vianney will meet a Rockets team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Middletown South (Middletown, NJ). The Rockets record now stands at 3-0.

The Bucs (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ). The Lions enter the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
