In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Roane County Yellowjackets.
The Chiefs (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Grace Baptist Academy (Chattanooga, TN). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Grace Baptist Academy lost by Boyd-Buchanan (Chattanooga, TN), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Oliver Springs Bobcats (Oliver Springs, TN) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 11. Roane County will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the battle with a 0-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Maryville Christian (Maryville, TN).
