The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Tatnall Hornets (Wilmington, DE) and the host St. Andrew's Cardinals (Middletown, DE), saw Tatnall's volleyball squad nip St. Andrew's by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Tatnall upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Hornets travel to Sanford (Hockessin, DE) to play the Warriors in a Independent Schools bout on Friday, September 8. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Sanford won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE)
The Cardinals now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Wilmington Christian for a Independent Schools bout on Thursday, September 14. St. Andrew's will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
