Potsdam Sandstoners (Potsdam, NY) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Canton Golden Bears (Canton, NY), 30-8 in a league battle.

The Huskies go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Franklin Academy lost 70-6 in their recent non-league battle against General Brown (Dexter, NY)

The Golden Bears now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Lawrence Central for a Section 10 battle on Friday, September 13. Canton will play a Larries team coming off a 46-0 non-league loss to Holland Patent (Holland Patent, NY). The Larries record now stands at 0-1.
