California High School Flag Football - Atwater nips Merced

September 7, 2024: Atwater, CA 95301

The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Atwater Falcons (Atwater, CA) and the visiting Merced Bears (Merced, CA), witnessed Atwater's flag football squad edge Merced by a tally of 18-12.

The Falcons (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pacheco (Los Banos, CA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Pacheco was nudged by El Capitan (Merced, CA), 31-6, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bears battle the Gregori Jaguars (Modesto, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 7. Merced will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Jaguars enter the contest with a 5-0 record after their 19-15 league win over Enochs (Modesto, CA).
