The Maine West Warriors were victorious over the visiting Streamwood Sabres flag football team by a score of 26-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Proviso East Pirates (Maywood, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 7. Maine West will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 30-8 non-league loss to Whitney Young (Chicago, IL).
The Sabres (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Willowbrook ran past Lyons (LaGrange, IL), 26-6, in a non-league challenge.
