Fans at Saturday's league battle between the North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) and the host Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), saw North Tahoe's soccer squad overwhelm Sparks by a count of 12-0.
The Lakers (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA). The Vikings enter the 3A Northern - West battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, South Tahoe notched a victory over Sparks (Sparks, NV), 11-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Railroaders battle the Truckee Wolverines (Truckee, CA) in a 3A Northern - West battle, on Tuesday, September 17. Sparks will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
