The Paintsville Tigers soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Shelby Valley Wildcats to 1 in the Tigers league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers now hold a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Greenup County for a non-league bout on Monday, September 9. Paintsville will play a Musketeers squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Morgan County (West Liberty, KY). The Musketeers record now stands at 2-9.
With the loss, Shelby Valley moves to 0-8 on the year. The Wildcats host Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY) to play the Blackcats in a District 57 bout on Thursday, September 12. The Blackcats go into the bout with a record of 5-2.
