In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Argonaut Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 1-0 victory over the Amador Buffaloes.

The Mustangs (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Union Mine (El Dorado, CA). The Diamondbacks enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Union Mine got by Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Buffaloes meet the Liberty Ranch Hawks (Galt, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Amador will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA).
