La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Santa Fe Christian Eagles (Solana Beach, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, La Costa Canyon improves its record to 3-1 on the season.

The Eagles now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grossmont for a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. Santa Fe Christian will face a Foothillers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Foothillers record now stands at 3-3.
