Fans at Saturday's league battle between the Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY) and the visiting Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY), saw Boyle County's soccer squad hold off Lincoln County by a count of 3-2.

The Rebels (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY). The Titans enter the non-league battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Mercer County was edged by Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Casey County Rebels (Liberty, KY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 10. Lincoln County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Rebels enter the battle with a 2-8 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY).
