The Wildcats (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Elks/Elkettes enter the non-league battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Pojoaque Valley was edged by Miyamura (Gallup, NM), 5-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 10. Lovington will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 2-4 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Artesia (Artesia, NM).
