The Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA) soccer nipped the host Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA), 2-1 in Saturday's league challenge.

The Spartans now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Northern Lehigh for a Colonial challenge on Tuesday, September 10. Southern Lehigh will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Palisades moves to 1-6 on the year. The Pirates travel to Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA) to encounter the Falcons in a Colonial challenge on Monday, September 9. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Salisbury Township won 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA)
