With the triumph, Cherokee improves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Warriors host North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA) to face the Warriors in a 6A Region 5 contest on Tuesday, September 10. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 15-1. North Cobb won 5-2 in their recent league contest against Etowah (Woodstock, GA)

The Hoyas now hold a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Osborne for a 6A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, September 10. Harrison will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-8.
