Nebraska High School Softball - Fremont bested by Norfolk

The Norfolk Panthers triumphed over the visiting Fremont Tigers softball squad by a count of 12-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers play the Marian Crusaders (Omaha, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 7. Norfolk will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE).

The Tigers (4-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbus (Columbus, NE). The Discoverers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Columbus was routed by Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE), 4-1, in a league challenge.
