In Saturday's league challenge, the visiting Lake Mills Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Algona Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA). The Midgets come into the challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Estherville Lincoln Central lost by Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA) in a challenge, on Saturday, September 7. Algona will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA).
