Georgia High School Volleyball - Appling County over Crisp County

Fans at Saturday's league contest between the Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) and the host Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA), witnessed Appling County's volleyball team gain a win over Crisp County by a margin of 2-0.

The Pirates now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Savannah Arts Academy for a 2A Area 3 bout on Saturday, September 7. Appling County will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over P.K. Yonge (Gainesville, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Crisp County drops to 13-8 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Pierce County (Blackshear, GA) to clash with the Bears in a 2A Area 3 bout on Saturday, September 7. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 15-2. Pierce County won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA)
