In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Bay Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Picayune Maroon Tide.

The Tigers (10-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Greene County (Leakesville, MS). The Wildcats come into the Class 4A Region 8 challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Greene County was beaten by Pass Christian (Pass Christian, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Maroon Tide meet the Pass Christian Pirates (Pass Christian, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 7. Picayune will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 2-0 non-league win over New Hope (Columbus, MS).
