With the win, Verdigris improves its record to 6-12 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Clinton (Clinton, OK) to encounter the Red Tornadoes in a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. The Red Tornadoes go into the battle with a record of 9-7.
The Chiefs now own a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sapulpa for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. Berryhill will encounter a Chieftains squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Jenks (Jenks, OK). The Chieftains record now stands at 9-16.
