With the win, Chippewa Valley improves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Big Reds host Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI) to encounter the Huskies in a Macomb Area - Blue battle on Thursday, September 12. The Huskies go into the battle with a record of 6-14.

The Green Devils now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harbor Beach for a Greater Thumb - East battle on Tuesday, September 10. Brown City will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Yale (Yale, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 2-8.
