With the win, English Valleys improves its record to 4-6 on the season. The Bears host Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA) to face the Wolves in a test on Saturday, September 7. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 3-2. Winfield-Mt. Union lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Lisbon (Lisbon, IA)

The Comets now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. Cardinal will face a Rockets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Centerville (Centerville, IA). The Rockets record now stands at 7-0.
