The Wapello Indians volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Danville Bears to 0 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Indians now have a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to WACO for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 10. Wapello will play a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Sigourney (Sigourney, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Danville drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Notre Dame (Burlington, IA) to play the Nikes in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 7. The Nikes come into the outing with a record of 6-1. Notre Dame lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA)
