The Diboll Lumberjacks topped the host Newton Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Lumberjacks face the Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 7. Diboll will attempt to advance on its 10-11 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 11-14 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Good Samaritan HomeSchool (Fred, TX).

The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Burkeville (Burkeville, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Burkeville went down by Bob Hope (Port Arthur, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
