The Stevenson Spartans topped the visiting Edsel Ford Thunderbirds volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 7. Stevenson will attempt to advance on its 11-6 season record. The Vikings go into the game with a 7-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI).

The Thunderbirds (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Airport (Carleton, MI). The Jets go into the non-league game with a 8-4 record. In their last game, Airport gained a win over Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI), 2-0, in a non-league game.
