In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host El Toro Chargers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Laguna Beach Breakers.

The Chargers (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Trabuco Hills was beaten by Redwood (Visalia, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Breakers meet the Santa Margarita Eagles (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Laguna Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 2-17 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, CA).
