In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Harlan Cyclones volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Underwood Eagles.

The Cyclones (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson got by Woodbine (Woodbine, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA) in a challenge, on Saturday, September 7. Underwood will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Atlantic (Atlantic, IA).
