In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Lincoln Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Jefferson Democrats.

The Cardinals (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Tigard (Tigard, OR). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Tigard beat McDaniel (Portland, OR), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Democrats meet the McDaniel Mountain Lions (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland Interscholastic challenge, on Monday, September 9. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Mountain Lions come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Tigard (Tigard, OR).
