The Kirbyville Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting West Hardin Oilers to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Buna for a 3A Region III District 22 outing on Tuesday, September 10. Kirbyville will play a Cougars team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Warren (Warren, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 8-16.

With the loss, West Hardin drops to 13-15 on the campaign. The Oilers host Spurger (Spurger, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 10. The Pirates come into the outing with a record of 5-6. Spurger won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX)
