In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Knoxville Panthers.

The Roughriders (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Treynor (Treynor, IA). The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Treynor beat Grand View Christian (Des Moines, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Knoxville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 2-0 league loss to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA).
