California High School Volleyball - Norwalk can't get by La Serna

La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Norwalk Lancers (Norwalk, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, La Serna improves its record to 11-8 on the season. The Lancers host Downey (Downey, CA) to face the Vikings in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 9-3. Downey won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Colusa (Colusa, CA)

The Lancers now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Mirada for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Norwalk will face a Matadores squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA). The Matadores record now stands at 8-7.
