Next up, the Bears battle the Muskogee Roughers (Muskogee, OK) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 7. Marshall will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Roughers enter the match with a 5-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Shawnee (Shawnee, OK).

The Spartans (5-11) will now prepare for their match against Tecumseh (Tecumseh, OK). The Savages enter the non-league match with a 10-8 record.
