Seaholm Maples (Birmingham, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host North Farmington Raiders (Farmington Hills, MI), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Seaholm improves its record to 2-7 on the season. The Maples travel to Huron (New Boston, MI) to face the Chiefs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Chiefs go into the test with a record of 1-1. Huron lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Flat Rock (Flat Rock, MI)

The Raiders now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Renaissance for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 11. North Farmington will face a Phoenix squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Davison (Davison, MI). The Phoenix record now stands at 0-1.
