In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Joseph Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Orcutt Academy Spartans.

The Knights (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley Christian Academy (Santa Maria, CA). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Valley Christian Academy beat Cuyama Valley (New Cuyama, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Valley Christian Academy Lions (Santa Maria, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 9. Orcutt Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Coastal Christian (Pismo Beach, CA).
