In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Pasadena Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Whittier Cardinals.

The Bulldogs (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Schurr (Montebello, CA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Schurr was beaten by Downey (Downey, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals meet the Artesia Pioneers (Lakewood, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Whittier will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA).
