The Pioneer Pioneers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Whiteford Bobcats to 0 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pioneers now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Stevenson for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 7. Pioneer will play a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 league win over Belleville (Belleville, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Whiteford drops to 10-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Rochester (Rochester Hills, MI) to play the Falcons in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 7. The Falcons come into the outing with a record of 5-8. Rochester lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Adams (Rochester, MI)
