The Pulaski County Maroons topped the visiting Wayne County Cardinals volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Maroons confront the Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY) in a District 47 game, on Tuesday, September 10. Pulaski County will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Rockets go into the game with a 5-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY).

The Cardinals (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Southwestern (Somerset, KY). The Warriors go into the District 48 game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Southwestern was dropped by Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, KY), 2-0, in a non-league game.
