Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Westview Wildcats (Portland, OR), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sheldon advances its record to 6-6 on the season. The Irish host North Medford (Medford, OR) to face the Black Tornado in a 6A Southwest test on Tuesday, September 10. The Black Tornado go into the test with a record of 5-2.

The Wildcats now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountainside for a 6A Metro test on Tuesday, September 10.
