The West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to West Central Valley for a bout on Saturday, September 7. West Monona will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Shenandoah drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Tri-Center (Neola, IA) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Tri-Center won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Stanton (Stanton, IA)
