Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Sutton/Douglas crushed by Nipmuc Regional

The Nipmuc Regional Warriors topped the host Sutton/Douglas volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Warriors now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hopedale for a Dual Valley test on Friday, September 10. Nipmuc Regional will confront a Blue Raiders team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Notre Dame Academy (Worcester, MA). The Blue Raiders record now stands at 1-0.

The (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Douglas (Douglas, MA). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.

Match Summary

Good start to our season tonight vs Sutton. JV won in 3 sets and Varsity sweep in three sets. Still too many errors, but we were able to control all facets of the game and emerge victorious. Nadia had a very good hitting night and Dana had multiple aces. Our foundation/core is good and I believe we will be able to continue Nipmuc's success on the volleyball court.
